September 16, 2024 – We have recently become aware that some brokers are required to authenticate their user access in ARIS, the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Authorized Requester Program, each year, by uploading a copy of their RIBO license.
If this applies to you, please read the important instructions below. If it does not, you can disregard this message.
Impacted brokers/brokerages have likely already received an MTO notice asking that you upload your 2024-2025 RIBO license by September 30. However, RIBO only permits licenses to be downloaded starting October 1.
To address this misalignment, RIBO and MTO have arrived at a solution that works for both organizations’ processes and needs and will ensure brokers retain access to ARIS.
Affected ARIS users now have until October 11, 2024, to confirm they have renewed their RIBO license.
Please follow the instructions below.
How to Maintain Uninterrupted Access to MTO’s ARIS System
- Locate the renewal confirmation email that was sent to you by support@ribo.com when you completed your renewal.
- Before September 30, 2024
- Forward that confirmation email to ARIS@ontario.ca. This will serve as temporary evidence of your renewal.
- After October 1 and before end of day on October 11, 2024
- Email a copy of your official license to ARIS@ontario.ca.
- You can download and print a copy of your license on or after October 1 by following these instructions.
