AGM Update

November 8, 2024 – Yesterday we concluded RIBO’s 43rd Annual General Meeting. Thank you to all who attended and made this event a success.

In addition to the regular business of the meeting, yesterday’s events included the election of Thomas Watson as incoming President and Melissa Bajwa as Vice President.

A heartfelt thanks to Rick Orr, outgoing President, and Alyssa Keyes, outgoing Vice President. Both remain on Council allowing us to continue to benefit from their experience.

The day also marked the departure of two valued Council members, Hugh Fardy and Brent Stefan. Both have provided tremendous input, insight and thought leadership to Council over their terms and RIBO and the Ontario public are better off for their service. A heartfelt thank you goes out to both.

We welcome onto Council Attia Momin who was elected as a new Council member for a three-year term, and the re-election of Melissa Bajwa and Alyssa Keyes for their second three-year terms. We also announce the appointment of Chris Cosack to Council, filling the remainder of departing member Hugh Fardy’s term.

Congratulations to all.

We look forward to continuing to strengthen RIBO’s impact in the Ontario regulatory landscape with these talented individuals.
