License renewals will be done in IRIS, our broker management system. All brokers should log in and get familiar with IRIS before renewal season begins. Access our guides, video tutorials and more.
License Renewals
- July 2 to 24: Firm renewals, Bulk Payments from Principal Brokers and Principal Broker renewals only
- July 25 to 30: RIBO staff payment processing
- August 1 to 31: Individual payments/renewals accepted only
- September 1 to 30: RIBO grace period
- October 1: Licensees who have not completed renewals/payment will be suspended

Mandatory Disclosures
It has always been a requirement for brokers to disclose conflicts of interest to clients. Our updated guidance clarifies that conflict disclosure must be made at the point of quote. RIBO Council requests all licensees comply with the guidance by July 1, 2024. RIBO will enforce compliance through its audit program as of October 1, 2024.
