New License 2024
Effective January 8th, 2024 RIBO is introducing a new license format. This new format is designed to streamline the information presented, improve readability, and increase security.
As the old licenses continue to be valid until they expire, we are only issuing the new format to new registrants and reinstated registrants requiring a new license at this time.
Once our new membership portal, IRIS, launches, all registrants will be able to use the self-serve function to generate and download a license in the new format if they wish.

Is the existing license still valid?
Members of the public and brokers should know that both license formats are valid provided that they are not expired.
Do I need a new license?
No. Your license, regardless of format, remains valid until the expiration date shown.
Can I request a license in the new format?
Once our new membership portal, IRIS, launches, all registrants will be able to use the self-serve function to generate and download a license in the new format if they wish. Provided your license is not expired, we ask that you continue to use your existing license until this self-serve function is available.
